This policy explains which data is processed when you use our website, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and, for visitors from the EU, the GDPR. Health records created during examination and treatment are not covered here; they are processed separately under health legislation.
Data processed on this website
- Server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser details are logged for security and deleted after 14 days.
- Cookies and analytics: No advertising or analytics cookies are used. Your language choice is stored only in your browser.
- Appointment form: Form data is not sent to any server; it is only turned into a WhatsApp message, which reaches us if you send it.
- Phone, WhatsApp and email: Your name, contact details and message are used to plan appointments and answer you.
- Map: Our location is shown with an embedded Google Maps map. When it loads, Google may process data such as your IP address.
Purpose and legal basis
Data is processed to run the website securely, answer appointment requests and contact you, based on legitimate interest and steps prior to a contract (KVKK Art. 5(2); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Please do not include health details in forms or messages.
Recipients
The website runs on the servers of a hosting provider. WhatsApp (Meta) and Google Maps may process data outside Turkey and the EU; WhatsApp is only involved when you use it. Otherwise data is not shared, except where required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Turkey the KVKK Authority). Contact info@samsundentalklinik.com; we reply within 30 days.
